Iman Ebrahimpour

Iman Ebrahimpour paints with a romantic sensibility, exploring themes such as the cosmos, nature, and the relationship between humanity and the universe. In his paintings, all elements of the image share a similar visual quality. This resemblance softens the boundaries between humans, nature, and other living beings, creating a world in which everything is deeply interconnected. In his works, light, shadow, and soft, curved forms—each resembling something familiar—are shaped less by the laws of nature than by the internal logic of the image itself, creating a mental and imaginative space. In Ebrahimpour's paintings, nature serves as a way of reflecting on the universe and the way we perceive it. He does not use natural landscapes simply to depict nature; rather, he treats them as a means of moving beyond the visible surface of the world, inviting the viewer to discover its hidden layers. Iman Ebrahimpour (b. 1991, Tehran, Iran) received his BFA in Painting from Kamal-ol-Molk University in Nowshahr. He held his first solo exhibition in 2014 at Shirin Gallery in Tehran, and since then has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions, festivals, and art fairs both in Iran and internationally.
